And it's another card sketch from Prairie Paper Ink. I just got this new stamp set from stampin up called Great Friend, and I'm in love with it. I've only had it for about 2 weeks, and it looks very well loved already! I just find the butterfly Soooooo cute!!! I stamped the butterflies on some cream card stock using Kiwi kiss and Soft Suede Ink from SU!. The card base is Kraft card-stock from SU! and the patterned paper is from K&Company. I'm not sure the name of the pad, because it's an older set that I've had lying around for a year now, and haven't used until now. It was just too pretty to want to cut up! Well....until next time!
Sonja Websterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10727022054268235982noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4273295878725666677.post-63540081086880499452009-08-30T20:21:00.001-03:002009-08-30T20:25:39.884-03:00Prairie paper and ink Friday card sketchI get my inspiration from all over the place. It is a beautiful card so I decided to recreat is with my own style. I cannot, for the life of me remember who the pink cardstock I used for the base is from. The black card stock is from a 12 x 24 pad of textured paper you can get for the Cricket cutters. The Patterned paper is from Anna Griffin, I bought a few sheets at my local micheals store months ago, and never knew what to use it on, I just thought it was too pretty not to buy! The ribon is some no name silk ribon I bought at a dollar store. And finaly the medal embelishment is from StapinUp's hodgepodge hardware in vanilla.
My base card mesures 10" x 4 1/4", then I foled it at the 5" mark. The black card stock messures 4 3/4 x 4 and the patterned papper at 4 1/2 x 3 3/4.
But I think I should start off with a little about myself. I'm a 23 year old Scrapbooking, Card Making, Crocheting, Photographer, who has finally found the drive and determination to share my works of creation with the world! (and by world, I mean the few friends and familly who might actually frequent this site from time to time) I'm excited to see if I'll get any trafic, if not it's a great way for me to archive all the projects I have on the go, and maybe it'll motived my to finish some of them so I can get a chance to post it! Well, it's getting late, and I've spent most of my evening getting this blog ready to go. I'll have something to post tomorow.
